Tracking combatant deaths related to Turkey's ongoing escalation

Confirmed deaths of military and security forces killed in combat across northern Syria since November 19th

I will continue to update this post (and re-sharing on Twitter) as new deaths are announced or as I come across those confirmed via funeral footage/martyrdom posters but not published by official sources. I’ve included whatever information has been provided regarding where the individual was from, how old they were, where they were killed, and what sub-entities they were affiliated with.

It’s important to keep in mind that we have no idea how indicative this selectively publicized information is in terms of total losses suffered by either side… it’s simply the only alternative available to highly questionable, unconfirmed claims made by Turkey and the SDF with regards to enemy combatants killed.

Note: this post will only cover combatants affiliated with the AANES or Turkey/SNA as I do not have the experience/expertise to do so with regards to forces affiliated with the regime - individuals that are tracking such information include @QalaatM/@QalaatAlMudiq and Trenton Schoenborn.
